One "possessed" BRZ

Took a trip up to Syracuse this weekend and met up with @Hardrock4445 to get my headlights blacked out and "demonized." Definitely did not leave disappointed. Thanks again Matt! :D

Sorry for the bad quality phone pics. I'll try to take better pics in the coming days when the weather gets better.

Does this affect the headlights at nighttime use at all? Or does it just simply look completely badass?

Kaster 04-01-2013 12:31 AM

No offense, but is this even remotely legal? It looks badass

Lee358 04-01-2013 12:35 AM

legal no bad ass yes... im in the process of doing this to my car also

GH05T 04-01-2013 12:52 AM

Yeah I didn't expect this to be legal by any means. But it's definitely something really cool to look at in person. We went with the red LEDs rather than painting the lenses so i could turn it on and off whenever. It doesn't affect the headlights at all. If I have my low beams on along with the demon eyes, the red is virtually nonexistent as the low beams overpower the red LEDs.

I've definitely been following your thread and your progress on it. It basically made me decide to make the big leap and get it done. I can't wait to see yours on your car!

I am not a lawyer but I got pulled over a few times with a similar mod on a Maxima years ago and because the colored light was not visible with my lights on I was fine. Again I am not a lawyer and YMMV but its something to consider if you ever get pulled over.

They are wired to a switch. You can turn them off. "Off road use only"

HeubergerMotors 04-09-2013 10:29 AM

That is a sick looking housing! Can't wait to see what he's going to do with the car!

CaptainSlow 04-09-2013 10:32 AM

I hope you don't plan to drive with them on the street. Police do not like red lights on the front of anything other than emergency vehicles.

Nah they're always off. I don't drive with them on unless I'm at a car meet or parked.
