:D

That review is probably the most honest reviews I've read but I won't say it's the best.

So true. Especially this part,

I was just driving home yesterday, and I ended up taking an extra half hour because I didn't want to stop driving. :D

Same here. This car just makes me want to drive!
If I'm bored... I take my key and go drive.

its the best because of how honest and straightforward it is. It doesn't need to go into every technical detail to review it. Its also the only article i've read about the brz/frs that brings up the storied past of cheap rwd coupes of the past.

0-60 for the BRZ is 6.1, esquire is stupid. Polyphony even says 6.1

So you're saying the FR-S is slower 0-60 than the BRZ or that they're both 6.1? From what I've read 6.5 is the 0-60. If it is 6.1 that makes it faster 0-60 than the new BMW 335i that my buddy is bragging about getting and smoking me with lol

Awesome review! It's so true you'd think he owned one.

It's a bit like the review in the New York Times (16 Nov. 2012) which is what first made me think this was a car I could love. The review ends:
The most trenchant criticism aimed at these impractical little cars concerns what they don’t have: much torque, the pulling power that you feel in your gut when you mash the accelerator. The puny 151 pound-feet of peak torque at a screaming 6,400 r.p.m. keeps the cars from being forgiving when driven hard or easygoing when driven around town. But such complaints miss the point.
It boils down to a lesson I was taught by my little sister, Cady Huffman, who played Ulla in “The Producers” on Broadway. In 2001, after I first saw the show in previews, I said to her that the romance between her character and Leo Bloom, the accountant played by Matthew Broderick, seemed arbitrary and underwritten. “Yeah,” she explained to me, “but no one cares about what isn’t there. Because what’s there is terrific.”

I thought the 335i's 0-60 time was somewhere in the 5 second range. If his bimmer is slower than 6 seconds then he drives like a geezer. Just tell him his heavy german brick can only go fast in a straight line then find a twisty road and leave him in the dust.

First time I heard the comparison of a Bimmer used in fast in straight line and slow in corners lol... Usually it is made with American cars and Mercs.

Most of them weigh almost as much as a Camaro now. German cars in general are getting heavier every year. The current M3 weighs just over 3700 lbs. Cars like that need well over 375hp just to put in fast acceleration and quarter mile times.

Your car would beat his 335i with a mild to moderate tune of about 230ish whp. Your power to weight ratio would be better than his, I think the 335i weighs just under 3600 lbs.
