Broken tab on emblem?
 
So I ordered a Toyota emblem on eBay for my FRS... I get it and I noticed that one of the tabs is broken off on the back! Am I still going to be able to install it safely, or will not having the tab fill the hole possibly cause problems, like water getting in there and causing rust?

... Yeah, I'm really neurotic.

I forgot to mention that I sent the seller an email complaining about it. I dunno what will happen, after paying return shipping I won't really have gotten much money back if he does a refund. Pretty irritating situation.

Did you order OEM JDM badges? Or Jdm style?

some sellers break one of the tabs for it to fit the frs holes

I just ordered used badges on eBay. Part 90975A2003 off of a 2012 Toyota Corolla for the front emblem and part 90975-02069 for the rear emblem. My front emblem is the one with the broken tab.
