You're killing me. Looks much better in the FR-S light than the softer bluish tC light. Thanks for posting those, not like I'm excited enough.

Maybe it's the lighting, but Ignition Silver seems to show the contours and creases a little better than the darker colors. Not that I'm becoming biased or anything.

For those that have seen the Series 10 in person, how much bigger are the badges up front and in back compared to a regular FR-S? The back-lighting feature must require larger badges, but is it that noticeable? Can't really tell from the pictures.

looks like a thicker badge, id say just a few millimeters really. I havet seen one in person, just stating what i see in the pics

Descriptions from the reveal to the order confirmation suggest the badges will only light temporarily when the smart key holder is within a few feet of the car. That might be why they're called "locator" badges. Then they'll probably turn off at door opening or engine start. I imagine it's illegal to drive with a blue light on so others don't mistake you for a LEO and pull over to get out of your way *hint*. If so, who will be the first to hack a switch into the circuit?

Any information on whether the HIDs will be available to order through Scion? At this point, that's the only thing I don't like about the base FR-S.

That... would be a huge sigh of relief. And wouldn't make me hate them nearly as much. The 10 Series version is growing on me!

I wish they included Toyota Entune, which would sync up Pandora, Iheartradio, Bing, Weather, Traffic and more into the head unit. It looks almost identical to a Camry with the display audio with entune...

Good job on your powers of perception! It's also known as the GT spec 86. The reason a lot of these features were stripped from the USDM cars is to give US owners the lowest entry MSRP of any market, allowing more people here to have access to the car.

Will we be able to order the 10series headlights? Or will they only be available to registered owners and whatnot.....

I've been trying to find this out forever now. No one seems to know. Some people say only the registered owners could order it, or you could order it as long as you get a VIN from one of those cars.
Well, I don't really care. I want HIDs but I think I'll just buy the 2013 model. If I can order these HIDs, then yay! If not, and the 2014 models end up getting them, I won't be too mad because if the base 2014's get it, everyone will be able to purchase them for their 2013's anyway, so it's still a good thing.
Either way, for me, 2013 model is a win-win in every way.

We'll start getting information soon comes may when it's closer to the cars arriving, so everyone can speculate all you want about the parts, it's not going to do you any difference. Just making you suffer more. May is like 10 days away try contacting SCION HQ or Email them they're pretty good at responding, but wait till they have more information available, They barely have information on their website as it is, I'm sure commercials and other stuff will come out for it soon. It's Scion after all.
