TRD Dealer Cost?
Hey all. I am thinking of trying to work out an arrangement with my dealer to try and get all my parts, TRD included, at dealer cost. I know the head manager very.... But I want to make sure it is worth it before I try and work it out with him. Does anyone have any idea what dealer mark-up is on most parts? Does it matter if it is a TRD part or a standard maintenance part (oil filter, etc)?
Thanks for the help. |
lol good luck with that.

The only way I can think of is if you are planning on racing the car, you will swap the cost of the parts in exchange for dealer windshield banner front and rear.
I don't know if it's still available but there's a BRZ (no options) in my area that comes with lifetime maintenance included with purchase but you can't remove the banners. |
Does anyone know what cost is on TRD parts? Just curious

Honestly I'm not sure what parts you're looking to get but last time I checked there aren't many. I know my local dealer could get ahold of the exhaust and air filter and that was it. Exhaust cost was close to 950-960 but list was 1056. No clue on the filter. Honestly you're better off buying trd parts off of whole sale sites online.

I had the dealer agree to this when I bought mine so it is doable, although I haven't bought any TRD parts yet. I figured with the Pure Pricing negotiating the car down was a lost cause so I figured I would give this a shot. I had them include accessories as well just in case Scion ever decided to release fog lights for the car. If your dealer agrees, make sure you have it in writing with the GM's signature. |
