@switchlanez and several other people run them. The smallest that would fit is probably 16x7. They're very expensive. Mach V sells a 17x9 for $700 ea. They're on my list of wheels I want, but that is a lot of money.

I'm bumping an older thread so I don't have to make a new one.

I'm looking at a set of these wheels 16x7 in size. If I buy these new I'm guessing I will need to switch over my TPMS sensors? Is that something a wheel shop can easily do while swapping in my new wheels? Also, does anyone know what type of lug nuts I would need?

It's surprising I can't find many pictures of our cars with the 16 inch version of this wheel. The only place I can find pictures is off of Japanese websites. Does anyone on here have these wheels in 16x7????

Yes, you will need to swap over your TPMS sensors from your OEM wheels to the new ones. Any wheel and tire shop should be able to do it.

As for lugnuts you will need aftermarket tuner lugs. They are 60 degree taper conical shaped.

The OEM lug nuts are already 60* tapered

@funwheeldrive You only need aftermarket lug nuts if you want a different style/color

Awesome thanks, I'm not picky about lugnuts and I really didn't want to spend more money considering how expensive just the wheels are.

Heres a thread of 16inch wheels. Specifically, post #485 has a pic of TWS. His first picture post is #214. There are more pics of 16" wheels as well. I have Enkei RPF1 in 16"

Thanks for that. I follow that thread pretty close because I've wanted 16'' wheels for a while. I was hoping to find a picture of the gunmetal grey TWS wheels on a twin, but have only found that gold color and the brushed metal so far.

Thanks I have been looking for more pics of the 16" setup

Whats holding me back is I don't like the Offset is the same as stock. Meaning you will have $2500 wheels that would still need spacers to sit close to flush. If they came in 16x7 at a +30 offset even if it weighed 2lbs more that would be much better. My 20mm spacers weigh 2lbs so that's where I got the number.

16x7 +30 offset 12.5lbs would make them worth it

Otherwise 16x7 +35 13.7lbs RPF1's more than half the price isn't a bad compromise and wouldn't look bad without spacers

Beautiful! How much do they actually weigh? I know CSG has the weights listed on their site but would be nice to verify

saltywetman 04-28-2021 06:25 PM

Will be bringing a wheel to a buddy's shop in a bit (forum member CrazyWookiee) to do a video review of the wheel on his youtube channel so he'll weigh everything and I'll link the vid onto here after

Got back from the video review shoot. On his digital scale it weighed in at 16lbs flat. Official specs is 6.97kg/15.4lbs for 18x8.5

https://www.tws-forged.com/tws_t66-f.html has the weights for every size/bolt pattern/offset as well

saltywetman 08-01-2021 08:12 PM

quick bump, @CrazyWookiee posted the video review up on his channel earlier today
