Any more trunks coming out?

I heard all about the horrible customer service from Seibon, and this makes me not want to buy anything from them even though their work makes me drool :/.

I've been looking for a carbon fiber trunk, but the only ones I know of are -

Siebon's OEM and CSL style trunk.

Carbon Creation's OEM style trunk.

VIS's OEM style trunk.

AeroJacket's Carbon Fiber trunk.

I'm really just looking for one with a duckbill. Does anyone know if any more companies are planning to make trunks?

The aftermarket loves these cars and our money. It's only a matter of time before there is more on the market to choose from.

I would guess Do-Luck will pass given how their Evo X trunk was copied left and right.

Most good designs get copied. Look at many of the Seibon products for example.

Check VIS again. They just released their ducktail one. 580 bucks if I remember right

Wish the VIS ducktail was smaller. I'm willing to pay for and paint a new trunk because it'll look so much cleaner than a "stuck on" 5-axis lip. So being overly aggressive defeats the point, and it's not like a wet carbon trunk will save significant weight so I couldn't even ricer justify it.

Oh well, probably only a matter of time until someone makes something.

Anyone have experience with VIS? Quality hit or miss like Seibon as I've been reading?

Any that aren't cf?

The point of the aftermarket trunk is usually for the minimal weight savings. If you wanted a non cf one, you might as well just mold a spoiler/lip into the stock one. It'll probably be cheaper than a whole trunk too
