Best bang for the buck performance parts?
Im on a budget and want to add some extra power for my car. So far on my list includes:
HKS drop in filter http://ft86speedfactory.com/hks-drop...s-brz-182.html Visconti tuning What else do you all recommend for the budget minded? |
Assuming you have a manual,
all 3 of these mods will run less then $200 and a days worth of wrenching: Perrin Rear Shifter Bushing Whiteline Positive Shift Kit Perrin Lightweight Crank Pulley Greatly improves the feeling of the gearbox, more importantly makes down shifting and rev matching smooth as butter... YMMV. |
tires and hpde.
nothing will help you as much as those 2. |
Beat me to it, nothing will improve your times more than tires.

TIRES, TIRES, TIRES, and DRIVER SKILL IMPROVEMENT at open track events.

HPDE and tires

tires.
and tires. if youre ballsy, maybe some r-comps and an hpde or two. |
How do the HKS and TRD drop in filters compare?

Guys, he said he's looking to add extra power to his car. All the suggestions of tires, brakes, driver mod, etc. probably aren't that helpful for him.

Sometimes you have to give them what they don't want to help them. |
little bit of money = tires
lots of money = turbo great bang for the buck either way |
While tires are easily the best performance mod for almost any car... I'd say if the OP wants to keep the car as slidey and drifty that suggestion really doesn't help him.

Stickers and Decals! +5hp for every one you slap on.
