I have used Zymöl products on every car I've owned. I start with the auto bathe, which is just a basic cleaner. Then I move to the pre-wax cleanse and pre-wax, which only needs to be applied every once in awhile. Finally, the wax. It is seriously the best wax I've ever used. Gives great results and I highly recommend it.

I like Griot's Garage products, but I feel their Best of Show Wax is the best wax out there. Really requires prep work with GRIOT'S Garage Paint Cleaning Clay for the best appearance. I don't like the finish produced by the sealant as well as that produced by Best of Show Wax. The sealant may last a bit longer, however, but I have never needed that with reasonable maintenance.

I have tried both and for some reason liked the sealant shine better. I think it will depend more the use given to the car. A daily driver I think would benefit more from the more frequent waxes while a non-DD garage kept car would do better just doing the sealant for 8-12 months at a time.

The wax is an awesome product and I do agree it leaves the surface very protected, but its so hard to remove!!

Maybe it has something to do with Florida vs. Minnesota sun. Seriously, there is a reason there are so many car waxes, sealants and polishes available. Different paints, colors, user preferences and perhaps location and weather can all play a part in what products make your ride look its best to you. Try a few and use the one that works best for you and the way you want your car to look.

I've been using collonite 845 with good results for years. I just put it on the FRS last week.

Another vote for Adams Americana

Best paste wax for the money, collinite 915, if anyone argues they have no clue. Easy of use, great shine and durability, new formula opti seal, not to get confused with opti coat, which is a coating not a wax.

Be careful with Zymol cleaner wax on new finish. I use it on my old cars and so used it on my Raven. Got swirl marks. Had to go over with a buffer and polish. Switched to a non-silicone synthetic, works good so far.

Collinite 915 and other carnubas look great, but unfortunately don't last very long. I use a carnuba as a topper over a good sealant or polymer wax. Gives it a good shine. I usually put on a carnuba coat after every wash.

Best waxes for whiteout?

Honestly, with my white out, I've stuck with NuFinish. Stuff is hard to beat. I've applied a few coats to the bumper, and bugs just wipe off easily. I've put it on the rest of the car and the baby beads as good as the Rain-X on the windshield. Easy on, easy off...
