Also, I have a couple of friends who may be interested in running in this event, A 993 Porsche, 04 Miata, and possibly an RS5. They allowed to sign up with Ptuning also?

Unless you are going after points for the season, I recommend everyone select the NOVICE class, put down PTUNING as the sponsor and select the $50 or $40 option. Just read the green Ptuning paragraph on the registration page.

If you're going after points for the season then with a basically stock brz, you're going to want to sign up for the NASA-X D class.

Your friends are more than welcome to join us, just have sign up under PTUNING.

One more question, are there rental helmets available there or do we have to bring our own?

They loan them to you for your driver license(instead of money). But they have a limited quantity.

This organization ( NASA Mid Atlantic Autocross ) also hosts circuitcross, which is held on a roadcourse. This is an autocross, held at the lot of VMP dragstrip. It is a very large lot, expect 60 sec runs, 70mph. No autocross venue in the DC metro area compares. Here is the venue.... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8pjhI_Y5No"]2012 Autocross INTRO Martin Kriz & David Wampler.mov - YouTube[/ame] I just got back from NASA's 2nd autocross of the season at VMP today, had a blast in the wet.

Just put on some 17x7 RPF1's and 225/45/17 Dunlop Direzza Z2's! Now I'm really excited about this.

Im sure if you have signed up, we will cut you a deal! On another note, I was working hard on the PTUNING FRS today. Just waiting for coilovers to come in, so it will be autocross ready.

Is your corner balance scale fixed?

It is a moble Intercomp wireless set-up ( same ones the Formula Atlantic guys work with). We chose that set-up so we could use it at racing events. When we do corner balancing at the shop, it is set up on our in-ground lift. Each scale pad sits in an adjustable platform which is set on the same plane as the other 3. This is checked with an Intercomp laser system.
