Just wanted to see what you guys think of the color combo. It's a Gloss Kiwi Green, although the iPhone pic makes it look neon green. It's more Kawasaki Green in person.

Also, ask me anything!

Looks like it came out really well! Did the installer mention any tough points during the wrap?

I did the install myself with help from 1 other person in certain areas. First wrap, I basically watched 2-3 hours of youtube videos on car vinyl. The first panel was hardest because of working with the new material, dealing with Florida heat, regulating the heat on vinyl, etc. The most technical piece was the front bumper, we took it off and did that in our dining room.

The vinyl roll was about $700 shipped (33yards x 5ft). If you count tools (heatgun, knife, knifeless tape, etc) and supplies it was right about $1000 total for everything.

When we asked a professional Vinyl installer for materials + labor cost it was $3500 for a "show quality" wrap (price included house call). My wife and I said "fk that" and did it ourselves.

OMG! :confused0068:

You mean to tell me that entire car is wrapped and not painted?
Blow me (that's what he said) away!

I want to do that to my car? That way, I wont have to care about having my paint getting scratch and can just peel it off when I get tired of it!
Or if I commit a bank robbery and reported the car was green, I can just peel that vinyl off and be a stealthy black.

What's the vinyl like under the sun light? Does it sparkle like paint or is it flat?

lemonspeakers 03-24-2013 07:07 PM

BTT, I think it'd look sick if you kept the underlip black and the fangs green. It brings out the front more! :-)

Celica00 03-24-2013 07:24 PM

that is a great color. nice choice! light green, orange, and yellow are my favorite colors for sporty cars

Looks great, is the hood and trunk by seibon. First time seeing the csl style trunk. It's more agressive then I expected. Is the roof close black wraped ?

Stock hood atm. The trunk is actually the Aero Jacket CF Trunk. The seibon hood were waiting on is backordered 6 weeks.
