BRZ Limited vs MB C250 Sport
Both are similarly spec'd but the C250 has much more torque and turbo. For a little more change, would it be worth going up to a MB C250? I compared the two before jumping on the BRZ. I made the right choice, right?

These are 2 different cars. MB C class is an entry luxury sedan which is built for comfort. C's level can't compare to pure sporty handling and precise steering like the BRZ. If you can go test drive all C class models then it will be clear. BRZ's platform is engineered and built for hardcore track racing and fun to drive.

I'm owner of C250 and BRZ. It is really hard to compare both cars. BRZ give me a lot of fun, especially after recent mods. Mercedes, even faster, and smart looking car, is used for trips from point A to point B, and daily street use.

IMO should compare the 328i, a4/a5, c250 with the brz/frs along with this. itd be interesting.

I test drove the C300 and it felt like I was trying to steer a boat, sounded pretty sweet tho but the V6 is slow

I see very little appeal in the C class; if you said A4 or 328i I might be inclined to argue the merits of one vs the other, but comparing to the C class, you made the right choice.

I get a fair amount of seat time in a C300 each year. For better or worse, it feels much more insulated than the FR-S. Very different car to drive. I can't really see the comparison. Love the way it looks and appreciate the luxury/comfort/serene ride, but the FR-S is much more of an involving car to drive. The steering absolutely sucks on the C300. No steering feel and the variable assist steering feels unnatural -- overboosted at slow speeds, heavy at higher speeds. The 7-speed automatic transmission can also feel sluggish.

I'm looking to buy either the brz or c250. leaning brz but my bro in law who is a mechanic at MB dealer offer free maintenance works for as long as i have the car. so now i am leaning c250 since i will probably save quite some money in the long run. I love the brz look but also like a comfortable car. Can you guys give me your opinions on this? thanks

All those what's call free maintenance is the diy oil change, windshield fluid, inspections.... etc. Others than that nothing is free. Example if your brake worn out in few years who going to pay for the brake parts? total cost could be around $600 part & labor. So make sure he always there to take care all items A-Z then go for it :)

brake parts and other parts, chances are i would have to pay for them. I get free oil change like you said, free tires (i dont mind using used but still good tires). Basically i would only need to pay for parts if they need to be replaced. They do cost alot more than Subaru but hopefully not need to replace them too often. I am pretty clueless when it comes to cars so any maintenance work would have to be performed at the subaru dealer if i am to buy the brz. I love the BRZ for its look, most likely never gonna track it. the c250 look fine for me. with that said, it is probably better for me to get the c250 then, right? I do enjoy the comfort ride.
