Looking for jobs in Software quality assurance, IT, management field

I'm in need of a new job. See my resume (attached) for details on my experience. I was making just over $50k so ideally I'd like to be making above that. I'm looking for a job in the software quality assurance, IT, management field, or perhaps even a career change if the pay is up to the level I'm looking for.

If any of you have insider info on where to get a job feel free to post it and I'll add it to my job hunt.

I'm from Iowa but was contacted by a recruiter looking to fill positions at Puppet Labs (Open source software co.) in Portland. I would give them a try since they seem to be hiring for a couple of different positions.

Sucks to hear that. My wife just told me yesterday that the bookstore @ Mt.Hood CC is hiring a web/IT guy. You could look into that if there is a listing.

microsoft is opening a new office in downtown portland. Don't know how soon it will be open or if it's retail.

Sorry to hear that Josh. Evergreen Enginerring Corp was hiring couple IT/EE positions last month whenI was doing job hunting. Try it, it located at Hillsboro.

I've only had basic security stuff like permissions, active directory, relating to small business networks. I'm more of a jack of all trades, know a little about lots of topics, master of none, which is typically why I have a hard time getting a job with larger companies. I'm willing to learn whatever if the pay is right. :)

It's a retail store like an apple store. I got to visit the one in San Diego last year. I doubt they pay much more than minimum however, but I'll look at it.

A lady called me who sounded like an HR person just making sure I didn't lie on my resume. She said she'd forward my info onto the guy looking to fill the spot. That was about a week ago.

No but I'd be willing if there was steady pay. I'm always worried about commission only jobs and not being able to pay the bills.
