Hey Everyone,

Just thought I'd throw this up here for anyone who is interested.
A camera, a couple GoPro's, a graded dirt road, a Can-am Commander, an 86 and an R44 helicopter
The video is in no way professional, It was just the product of me being bored while out visiting my parent's farm.
Credit to my mate Liam for his coproduction.

Enjoy!

that was great dude, good job!

White64Goat 03-21-2013 08:53 AM

Some of the smoothest dirt roads I've ever seen. Was the heli part filmed by a full size or a remote control one?

Haha yeahh, I spent a few hours on the grader beforehand.
And full sized helicopter. I wasn't aware that R/C helicopters could do 130km/h haha

White64Goat 03-21-2013 09:14 AM

Drone? :confused0068:

Devie 03-21-2013 09:28 AM

Im far too much of a ***** to even go near a dirt road with my car, scratch her up :(. I have been on a dirt track with a sti, evo and xr8 ute, great fun! Is that a crack in the rear diffuser?

Yeahhh well I fugue, Toyota Australia advertised the car drifting on dirt so why shouldn't I? Haha.

And nah, just a water streak I think, had to wash off some dust before the gopro mount would stick.

Huehuecoyotl 03-21-2013 09:53 AM

n2oinferno 03-21-2013 11:08 AM

Australians:
Complain that vehicle costs more than in the USA.
Have helicopters at the ready for recording of hooning.
:D

Looks like fun!

bestwheelbase 03-21-2013 11:12 AM

"We find ourselves in the wild, untamed Australian outback on our quest to discover the habitat of the elusive GT-86. It is believed to only roam the quick and bustling urban jungle, or the wide and open agrarian fields. Sometimes they also can be seen testing their skills on the various race tracks around the world. Ah! Look there! We've been fortunate enough to find a Whiteout 86, a rare breed indeed! Let's watch how it drifts these turns and tears through the dirt roads of this Australian farmland."

df.dima 03-21-2013 12:27 PM

Awesome video!

Scenic Driver 03-21-2013 12:45 PM

ZetaVI 03-21-2013 03:38 PM

Very awesome production.

BigFatFlip 03-21-2013 03:44 PM

well that was fun

Fenrir 03-21-2013 03:55 PM

The best part about this video is that it shows me I'm not the only person out there who isn't afraid to DRIVE the damn car.

Was starting to get annoying every time I posted a picture of my filthy, salt-covered BRZ and watched the masses cringe at my "car abuse".

Fucking awesome, sir.

switchlanez 03-21-2013 03:56 PM

Awesome driving and editing there, mate!

Childish Gambino over wub wubstep is a little catchy but I still can't take his music seriously after watching him as a comedic actor on Community.

Revird 03-21-2013 04:05 PM

Awesome. I want to drive on your farm.

M-17 03-21-2013 04:07 PM

The view from the helicopter was a great addition.

Now I wonder what you would do if you weren't bored?

stockysnail 03-21-2013 04:45 PM

Cool video. That's a big farm. You could be a professional videographer as I've seen worse on the TV.

Haha well kinda, my dad has owned one for years now. Not for hearding cattle, but moreso for keeping down feral animal numbers (pigs mainly) via a passenger with a shotgun.
First time I've got him to do a car chase though, I think he did pretty well.

Haha I have a problem with any Australian who complains about the cost of the car here. No it's not as cheap as the FRS but its a hell of a lot cheaper than any comparable cars in aus.

Haha would be more than happy to host if someone else sorts out the logistics!

Amen. I put down the cash for the car, I can do what I want with it. It was made to be enjoyed not babied.

Thanks for all of the love, everyone. Glad you're enjoying it

Anthonytpt 03-21-2013 05:17 PM

I want that license plate!
