I'm 6'1" btw.

We are pretty much the same height, 6'2 here. If you can get a pic of you in the drivers seat with the seat all the way back and down with the steering wheel tilted and telescoped as far as it will go, that would be great! Trying to see if there will be enough room for me without knees hitting the steering wheel. :)

Search. There's a photo already of some people sitting in the back

I'm probably going sit in the front seat and have my buddy in the back seat (who is 6'). I usually put car seats all the way down and telescope the wheel about half way out. But I will also take a picture of the back seats with the fronts all the way back for you extra tall people, and the ones who like to barley reach the pedals :slap:

I'll take tons of pictures, but I know how everyone is curious about the back seats so I'll get a few good ones back there!

Didn't mean to put that thumbs down ^^^ lolol

Your statement would be true if both cars in comparison have the same wheel base then the fwd could have more room for interior. However, I don't think the cars mentioned here have the same wheel space so your point is not valid here.

This.

I would say magazine writer exaggerate a bit to get your attention. There was a picture in tms where 4 Japanese young people sit in this car for picture.

Hopefully some will verify this in Detroit this time .

Yeah there was that pic of the 4 but I don't remember the back two being that comfortable.

I remember the pic, and tried to search for it, but couldn't find it. I guess the forum doesn't have the "search by picture" feature up yet. It looked a little cramped in the back even with smaller guys. I wouldn't expect the back seat to be very usable past anything but a short trip.

I found it. I am on my mobile device so can't embed the pic. Here is the thread with the pic. Hachi should just hire me to be the website search engine/search for duplicate threads. Lol

Preferably ask one of the models to sit in the car.

And they could solve that thread question of whether there is enough room to have sex in the car.

:w00t:

I am waiting on such information. I'm a tall lad of 6'6"... I wasn't anticipating such information. I was just going to wait till' the Scion dealer got one in to see for myself.

Coming from the owner of a dimensionally larger RWD coupe, ain't no one gonna fit in the back of the 86, comfortably at least.

Sure Toyota will SAY you can fit 4 adults in the 86, just like Hyundai said you could fit four adults comfortable in the back of the GenCoupe. In reality, no one taller than 5'4" can fit in my back seat without risk of permanent neck/head trauma. I am 5'8" and I have to angle/tilt/lean forward to avoid resting my head against the rear window. I sit in the back seat while cleaning the interior just to humour myself.

Oh yeah, the seats will be comfortable and shapely, but headroom real estate is very limited in small RWD coupes (not talking hatches here, plenty of room in the back of GTi's). Basically, the rear seat is for insurance and storage.
