The biggest thing is the wait, they have folks in Japan to make to order in so many styles. Takes about 2 months to fully make.

Picked up the car from Ptuning today after their tuner worked their magic with the header and water meth. Car Pulls like a bat out of hell but still gets great gas milage (not under load of course). I need to upgrade brakes pretty fast now lol. As always thanks to @ptuning @Mrc@ptuning and crew for the amazing work!

First half done made a small time lapse. 0 Issues (as expected) except for a blown out sidewall due to road debris. Also those signs for falling rock actually mean rocks fall lol. Had one come under neath the belly of the car (orange size) with 0 issues lol. Went thru about 1/2 tank of meth and got a trip average of 27mpgs (I did try to be somewhat gas conscious )

So ran Gripfest on Saturday along with the @ptuning Crew. Also ran Road course based Autox (1 Mile long). The car performed flawlessly (except for a few freak outs with the whole peddal dance as I don't disable it) in every single way. Granted I didn't win but my times were no slouch.
@Mrc@ptuning frs is about the same setup as mine (power wise). He was running hosier slicks while I was running Toyo R888s and our differential on the road course were about 3.5 seconds. Had a blast and I can't wait to run again!

I still need to practice my autox skills as again I had a decent time but not good enough as one of Ptuning's skilled drivers showed me what my car could really do by running the course about 4 seconds faster than I did. All in All I placed top 7 in the road course (Our of 50) and top 11 in Autox out of 42.

Need more seat time!

What rear wing do you have? I was looking into the Silk Blaze one and yours looks similar but a bit further off the car which I like.

Video: Stock Scion FRS versus Turbo Scion FRS, Street Comparison

http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/...ehxvoncgtf.jpg

“The Scion FRS and Subaru BRZ have plenty of power!”, said nobody ever. Now with our hands on both a factory stock Scion FRS and a fully modified turbo Scion FRS, along with a bucket of audio and video equipment, we’re going to find out exactly how good the GT86 platform can be. This isn’t a track comparison. These are street cars and we’re out to see how much better a fully tuned FRS can be measured by the seat of the pants. #ButtDyno
A huge thank you to Sapan for letting us drive his turbo Scion FRS. The car has a complete turbo kit with all supporting hardware and was built by PTUNING in Manassas, VA. You can check out all the details of Sapan’s FRS by visiting his Wheelwell page here.
