update since I dropped this thread with real life issues.

Got my car back, they did a fantastic job on the repairs. Paint matches perfect. (not much left to match to however) Laundry list of what was done:
New Hood, New Roof, New front quater panels both sides, new Passengers door, new passanger rear quarter panel, new trunk lid, New glass front and back, and both half glasses, new mirrors, new brake lights (all 3), new rear interior (water damaged). Various smaller things.

wow would have been shorter to list what is old.

Took a total of 2 months to get everything fixed.

Total cost 16,800.

2 days after got the car back, car in front of me threw a rock and chipped my hood, grocery store mom dinged the door, and a week later another car threw a rock and broke my windshield.

Maybe I was just not meant to have this car. =P

Huge hailstorms in Johannesburg yesterday - real car killers - 86 is very soft in hail.

I dropped my Blackberry against the rear fender and it left a dent... flying ice is worse! :mad0259:

This is a pretty general comment to resurrect a thread that's been dead for some time. Any specifics to share? Anything to look for in a car where the body shop has done an (otherwise) immaculate job in repairing hail damage?
