Apparently you can fit 4 wheels/tires in this car

... how?

I have my 18's with 235's in my car now and it's the most unsafe / horrible fit ever.

I kept hearing that you could easily transport around 4 spares no problem. SHOW ME!

zoomzoomers 03-18-2013 04:19 PM

Well, from my recollection, they never did say anywhere in their ads that it would be safe. Just that you could fit a set of 4 wheels/tires. ;)

boredom.is.me 03-18-2013 04:19 PM

No one said it was safe. The fact that they could fit was all that was said.

@zoomzoomers
You beat me by seconds!

i did it rather easily in my car, it took up the whole back seat area and made seeing out of the back a little difficult, but it was doable for as far as i could put up with the smell of rubber.

if I didn't give a crap about my wheels the fit would be fine but I don't feel like scratching the faces / lips together

Buy wheel bags? They will keep the inside of the car clean too.

Open trunk, pull on drawstring to make rear seats fold down flat, shove wheels in so you have 4 wheels (with or without tires) inside your BRZ.

Tirerack sells nice tire totes. I own a set of four, they're wonderful.

Not sure what specific issues you're running into, but there are lots of pics floating around out there:

Here are 245's:

This guy apparently fit eight 245 width tires in his car:

I've had multiple sets of 17's, 18's, tires, etc in mine with no problem what so ever? Maybe it's how you're packin em?

Fold down seat's, 1 wheel/tire in trunk, 2 side by side on the folded seats through the passenger side door, 1 on top of those 2. Easy money with my 17x9 rota grids with 245 Z1's on them....I put down a towel between the stacked ones...and thats leaves you with a front seat still.
