Just about to pull out the bike for the year, i know some have had them out for 2 weeks now, but i am not scared to admit that I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the Yakima bike rack or any others. oh and yes this is my tattoo

Whether you are looking for a roof rack, trunk rack, or hitch rack, Thule is the way to go. I have worked at a bike shop for the last 6 years that sells both Thule and Yakima and the fit and finish of the Thule is much nicer than the Yakima stuff. Its just a tad more expensive, but well worth it in my opinion.

Thant being said, I can fit my size 56 road bike in the back with the front wheel off.

thanks man i got it after a woman in a Volvo XC90 turned in front of me, broke my leg and road rash all the way down one side....but the immature guy in me is proud of the fact that she didnt get off with no damage, she needed a new headlight, bumper skin, and she had a nice dent in her quarter panel haha

Anyone know if there are hidden attatchment points under the black strip along the roof? In my 1st gen Mazda3 there were hidden factory mounting points underneath. I wouldn't want to run a clamp-type system on my 86 because of how the base touches the roof
