What are these for?

Stupid question I'm sure...but what are these for? On the dash right by the vents, and how come my driver side is sunken in and my passenger side is raised up? :iono:

Light sensor and temperature sensor for your climate control and head lights.

Only one is installed and it is the photo-sensor for the automatic headlights.

Automatic climate temperature sensor is actually in the dash right beside where your right knee would be. There's little slits there for it to measure the in-cabin air.

It's for when you fold the car up like a pancake, it sticks together.

yea it's for the automatic headlights.

i made the mistake of setting something up there and trying to figure out why my lights weren't coming on for a couple days. :O

Being a huge fan of Subaru and their SYMMETRICAL all wheel drive system, I am appalled that one side has a raised peg and the other is indented.

WHERE IS THE SYMMETRY?!

And to think it only has ONE steering wheel and pedal set! There is a serious weight imbalance with this car!!

Anyone notice their trim piece that surrounds these two sticking up? Just noticed my passenger side in the corner closest to the seat doing it this morning

For what it's worth, the FR-S has the two indentions only. "zero bumps Vasili".

My best guess would be because they have no HIDs...

I hope I'm not the only one who gets that.
