Wipe Out.......... almost

Young teeny-bopper with a "NEW" driver sign on her SUV races to make a blind left turn.... right in front of me!

I hammered the brakes.. they worked!

What brakes are those and how much better are they than the stock ones? Because the FRS is probably one of the best stopping cars I've ever owned.

Don't know if serious.... Can you read what the caliper says? It is not rocket science.

The FRS and BRZ brakes are fine, until they get hot.. then they fade like a bad memory.

These are AP racing brakes.. purchased from Stillen:

Wow... I'm 16 and I have just under 4 months of driving experience, so I'm a new driver as well. However if it's a blind left turn I don't care about the people honking behind me, if I can't see I don't take those chances. I'll just wait until the orange comes, make sure everyone safely stops then I go.

SUV driver drives like an asshat. World shocked.

Knshro13 03-16-2013 07:51 PM

Are you trying to sell us brakes? I had the same thing happen to me too. I slammed on my stock brakes and they worked as well....

Trog 03-16-2013 07:54 PM

No, I sell SUV's.

Sorry bro, picture was so big most of it wasn't on my screen. No need to be an asshole.

Right I had to read his post a couple of times to make sure I read it correctly.

If it's true, good on him. Maybe...just maybe there's hope after all.
