light steering angle improvement
I had modified my AE86 to have a bit more steering angle by adding spacers between the steering rack and inner tie rod, I know Tein made some incredible tie rods with this spacer incorporated to it for the S chassis and 350Z Nissans, why can't I find anyone who tried this up to now?
www.tein.com/products/tie_rod_-tie_rod_end.html www.hachiroku.net/steer I searched but didn't find anything |
Perrin makes something called Super Steers, http://blog.perrinperformance.com/50/. Wonder if they will work on the FR-S.

I've been looking as well and haven't found anything either. That would be awesome if Perrin ones worked

I'm not a fan of the Perrin Super Steer part.
If I remember correctly, I think the stock knuckle can be re-drilled for more steering angle. |

Lots of mathematical masturbation going on in that thread, and not a single real world review. |
I also havent really found anything and am waiting for some off the shelf angle parts whether it be tie rods, a modified knuckle setup, etc.
Our cars definitely have okay steering angle stock but I constantly will bounce and hit lock while drifting since Im so used to having more angle. |
Personnally all I need is to have more steering turns from lock to lock, I don't need or want a quicker steering, the spacers I used on my AE86 were wonderful...
