Fuck that is pretty. $3,000 for cast wheels is still very high but damn.... thats nice.

Thoes would make nice high heels for a DD and then go with something light weight enkie's for running shoes for the track.

Considering their Forged counterparts are closer to $6k, these aren't that bad. Only gripe is they're not available in 18's.

Just because a leather wallet from Gucci costs $600 doesnt make a cloth one worth $200. You are paying for design and a brand name not necessarily quality. If Rota ripped these off it they would cost $300 a wheel and still be cast.

EDIT: They are still hot as shit.

stilletto 03-14-2013 11:10 PM

That's the point though. Exclusivity.

Still too rich for my blood, but I'm very happy to see that HRE has stepped into the "more affordable" realm.

What is your advantage against brands like xxr.. japs wheels.. italian wheels.. ??

merlin2111 03-19-2013 04:01 PM

From my experience, the "better" brands have higher quality control and typically have a stronger product. I had volk gtc's on my RSX and never had a problem but I have go e through a few xxr's over the past few years on my miata.

naikaidriver 03-19-2013 04:34 PM

That price is way out of my league but damn! That is the prettiest Asphalt FR-S I have ever seen! Those wheels look fantastic on it!

That'll come right after my TRD supercharger order.
