PA AutoX Solo - March 17, 2013

I'm thinking about going to this one but I'm not sure because of the weather. It would be the first time I've ever auto crossed and the first time I've ever really driven my car hard. I'm not sure wet weather is the best place to start.

Actually, wet weather is the place to start. High levels of grip can cover up a lot of sin when driving. Low grip situations teach you a lot more about car control. Your lap times will be lower, but that's ok because everyone else's lap times will be lower as well.

The worst part is if it's pouring rain while you're working the course.
