Retaining Factory BT Mic w/ Aftermarket Radio
I would love to retain my factory bluetooth microphone with my Pioneer radio. Has anyone found an easy way to do this?

Unfortunately, there's no easy way to do this. It involves tapping/splicing into several factory wires and there's no simple "plug" or adapter at all.
My suggestion (which is what I'm going to do as well when I do my new headunit), is to just move the factory one out of the way and zip tie it in the headliner with some foam to prevent rattling, and run your aftermarket one in the exact same location. Out of sight out of mind. No cutting any factory wires and still looks completely factory. |
It has a plug about 2-3 inches behind it so its easy enough to remove and replace with the aftermarket mic, now keeping your factory usb and line in... that's a little more complex
