Rear Fog Light Review

Let me start this off by saying I always do everything possible to avoid all things plumbing and electrical so the thought of installing a tail light/brake light to the rear fog light housing on my BRZ did not thrill me, but I seriously wanted to light that area. I contacted every vendor I could find on the internet regarding the lighting of the rear triangle on my BRZ. I got responses from all of them however the response I got to my original question and follow up responses to my probably “elementary” pre order questions from FnA Automotive stood out above all others. There answers were timely, complete and friendly without making me feel stupid.

Being a bit older, I would guess, than most BRZ/FRS owners I have some “heart burn” when it comes to buying anything online unless it’s from a major chain store and even that sometimes concerns me. With myself and FnA Automotive being almost 2000 miles apart I still went ahead and ordered from them based on how I had been treated during our written exchanges.

As it turned out I made a great choice of product and in the vendor. The wiring harness, socket and bulb are top quality as were there supplied installation instructions. I did also have a couple of post purchase questions and those questions were dealt with by FnA Automotive in the same prompt and thorough manner as I mentioned before.

Don’t know these guys personally at FnA Automotive and will probably never meet them but this is a great place to do business and I will seek them out in the future if my needs or wants fit their product line and/or area of expertise, don’t ever hesitate to use them.

That's a stellar review of the vendor. How's about one of the actual fogs, now?!

Your review is a little vague without pictures. Wouldnt junkyard parts do the job? Or did you buy the actual whole assembly and at what cost?

I'll post pic's later today. As far as junk yard parts to each his own I guess. The whole assembly was $120.00 if I remember correctly. I see they have a group buy going on now didn't check the price though.

OP - what's with the tiny print? Trying to ruin our eyes?

I don't understand why people are buying those kits. Honestly, I made one myself that turns on with the headlights and also it becomes brighter when you hit the brakes.

I paid a total of $12 at auto zone for two bulb sockets and two bulbs and just used some electrical wire laying around. Unless, his housings are made of gold, then I don't see where you're coming close to $120.

Maybe you should read the OP's first sentence again.

To each their own, glad it worked for you.

Can't find the page to order these items. Google it and I get lots of YouTube videos and stuff, but no link for FNA Automotive, to order this stuff. Can you post a link or at least a clue as to how to find these people's web page? Thanks
