Beatrush strut bar and tower bars installed [picture]

I was having a bit of trouble getting the strut bar on with the tower bars because the nut is the type with the big round end and it was hitting the bolt of the tower bars. Took me way too long to realize the obvious, that I should just switch the nut to the other side :bonk: After that it went on fine with comfortable clearance between them.

Also, I had a bit of trouble getting the driver side tower bar on. It fit fine but one of the nuts was too wide and wouldn't bolt in because it kept hitting the end of the bar. I got over this by removing the gold flange thing from the bar and installing that first then attaching the bar after (I didn't have this problem with the passenger side).

Can you feel a difference in handling?

qijian 03-13-2013 01:49 AM

^x2 any difference at all?

Asus 03-15-2013 12:25 PM

I've only done a little bit of spirited driving and I didn't really notice a difference, I haven't been able to get back on a track yet and take it all out.

FTspeedfactory looked into it for me and they said they could only find them made in RHD applications. Hopefully Beatrush will release a LHD version, I'd love to have one.

Looks so beefy! I think I'll pick up a set when I get my car. Anything for the rear planned?

I want to make the rear trunk into a jungle gym but I don't want to cut anything or strip it, so probably not. Just beefier sway bars if needed.
