Greddy SP Elite Break In ?

hey guys im getting my GReddy SP Elite Exhaust on Saturday. just wanted to know of any complications or just things i should look out for with the install or also the so called Break In Period. Ive heard a bunch of things about a break in period with the exhaust getting louder as the miles driven on it increase ( around 1000 miles it is " Broken in " )

Can Someone knowledgeable and also with this exhaust on their frs or brz help a little man out ?:happy0180:

I've read this as well, but honestly I don't notice any difference in sound from the day I bought it to now (probably has 2k miles on it now). Which is a good thing, because I was completely happy with the sound, the day I drove it home from being installed.

Just keep a look out for the muffler bearing, also I'd change the muffler oil at 500 miles instead of 1k, just to help the break in

Also remember to keep the rpm's under 4k for the first thousand miles. The extreme airflow could crack the welds.

Don't think I've ever heard of anyone breaking their exhaust in. Initial break in periods on cars themselves is already a pain in the ass. Couldn't imagine having to do it all over again over an exhaust.

I thought he would've got that.. I would've really felt bad... At least for a minute... If he really poured oil in his exhuast
