BRZ DRL Condensation
 

I have some condensation in my front left DRL. I took it to the dealership and they told me it's not a common issue and that I needed to come back on a weekday for some reason. Anybody else have this?

I just noticed I have this. Did they replace it for you?

I never went back to ask. I haven't noticed it happening and I figure it's not too big of an issue. I might get it checked next time I go in.

I noticed both of mine are condensating now after noticing that @Sportsguy83 also had the issue. I don't know that it bothers me enough to have the dealership replace them though since they would probaly want to pull the front bumper off.

I had the issue but the first day I went to the dealer, no condensation was present.

Later on, I made an appointment and made sure to spray the hell out of the DRL to make sure it was going to have it. Sure enough it did. They ordered my DRL right there, no questions asked. The guy knew beforehand I had turbo. I asked him nicely if I could bring the damaged piece myself as I didn't want anyone else working on my car. He said no problem, so I took it out myself, brought it in, and got the new part in.

Sad part of the story is that after doing all of this, I noticed BOTH DRLs (including the new one) having condensation.... I might take it to the dealer again, but maybe not.

I was telling @King Tut that I think that after bumper removal/reinstall and it not fitting properly under the headlights anymore, it allows water behind the DRL and even thought it is a completely sealed part, it might be allowing condensation in.

Yeah, I had some stone chips on delivery, so I brought it back shortly after, and I'm pretty certain they removed the bumper to work on it, since it doesn't fit right under the driver's side headlight. And that's the one that has it. Passenger side is fine.

i posted a thread about it a long time ago like maybe 6 months ago. let me find it my dealer replaced my lights no problem.

I have the same issue on the passenger side. Is it worth having it replaced ? The dealer said they were vented and could have the same issue. The driver side is fine though with never any condensation.
