It can be BELOW the driver's view. The air in front of the car is as clean as the air above it. If anything, I do question the wisdom of putting it that high on a functional basis as I'm sure it's interfereing with the efficiency of the rear wing.
I did say that it was functional, but I think it could be better. There's a reason why you don't see elevated front wings on unlimited class hillclimb cars and other high downforce vehicles. |
