I sand and clear coat every carbon part we install at my shop. Have not had any come back yet for fading and some have been done over 4 years ago.

I always thought it was funny going to the Drag Raceway by me to see a Honda with holes cut in the bumper to shave 1/2 lb only to see a 350 lb guy climb out of it...

This really happens..

That's not for weight, its to release air pressure that builds up behind the bumper at speed and lower the overall drag of the car

100% serious. The dead space under the car/behind the rear bumper creates drag. Most legit Honda drag cars you see have nice aluminum or carbon fiber plates with the holes in it so it looks nice. And that's adding more weight than just drilling the holes with a hole saw and leaving it be so weight loss is not the goal.

I've bought a seibon hood for my celica about 3 years ago and i lived in Florida for 2 of those 3 yrs with my car parked outside, and the condition of my hood is still flawless and i have yet to do ANY reconditioning to the hood besides the occasional car wash so in my experience the quality is amazing
