Has TRD released their springs?
I can't search TRD as its to short a word but I'm interested due to the mild drop. Does anyone else do only ~1/2 inch drop?
|
Our RCE Yellow spring are only a 20mm drop and include replacement shortened bumpstops. Design focus was on function first.
The only springs with less of a drop as far as I know are the STI pinks from Japan, but they don't come with bumpstops. Still nice springs. - Andrew |
STI springs have the same drop as the TRD
|
I have the TRD coilovers and springs with about a 15mm drop as recommended by TRD.
They have released other springs but I recall @caldine advising none of the newly released TRD springs would fit the OEM shocks. I'm sure he'll be happy to advise what TRD has released and what they will fit. . |
I'm buying my car in a month or so. Are dealerships selling TRD springs for the FR-S yet?
|
@colHolm has the TRD springs, but I'm not sure if they've been released to the general public yet or not.
|
TRD Springs aren't yet available. I'm hoping to have a set test fit sometime next month.

To be more specific... TRD springs from TRD USA aren't yet available.

Is TRD planning on struts to go with these?

Is this the TRD kit this thread is talking about? Any idea what the actual drop is? I've heard between 10mm - 20mm?
