Boom you have an extra 50hp or so. I'm using my Nissan's 2.5L as a guesstimation, with a catback and cai I can get an extra 20hp out of it. They are two different engines but the outcome will be about the same.

intercooler on a NA engine? better internals? the engine has fracture forged rods and forged crank. and sodium filled valves what better internals would be needed on a NA engine? if more power is to be extracted cams would be the best $

Lol the wording in thread title can be interpreted as "Toyota confirmed to not confirm forced induction."

Good.

Can you tell us what you really meant, then, when you suggested employing a "higher end intercooler?"

You meant something else, surely?

You DO understand that an intercooler is NOT simply an intake air filter system, right?

Or not...

Let's face it, some of us just want to go faster but keep the stunning looks of the 86 at the same time...

Off-topic... but I gotta say this. DUDE! WTF?!?! Where have you been? I haven't read your post for a long time (I feels like).

Fyi I said the intercooler stuff just to see what people would say. lol Flamers came out of the woodwork big time. Btw I know an intercooler is useless without a turbo, duh.
