BLITZ FR-S/BRZ Intake released
Looks like Blitz intakes just hit the market.
http://www.optionsauto.com/prodinfo....mber=BLZ-42128 http://www.optionsauto.com/prodinfo....mber=BLZ-26128 http://www.optionsauto.com/prodinfo....mber=BLZ-56128 I'm not with optionsauto. This was the only site that had all 3 models with pictures. I'm not stating I like or dislike Blitz intakes or suggesting that they make more power or more power than other intakes. Just news delivery...I'd post pictures, but they locked off image link retrieval. |
@ZetaPerformance has one installed on their FRS. Looks similar to one on the first link.

MMMM,
hot air intake... those all look fail-tacular... I don't get it cause I thought the sus filters did very well in a filter shootout from a couple years ago... Guess I thought that would translate to a good intake design. |
Wow...$525.
http://www.optionsauto.com/images/blz-42128.gif - Large diameter cooling shield prevents the filter element from heating up by reflecting the heat radiation. - Induction efficiency is thus maximized and stabilized by lowering the filter temperature. |
But aluminum piping will absorb heat where its not shield

thing looks great! to bad i doubt its going to do jack!

That looks like it came at the bottom of a box of cereal.

So basically this is just an expensive metal dry air filter attached inside your engine bay were your real intake should be. Since the intake is gone now they have to attach the MAF sensor to a filter. This is so crazy it just might work. Oh oh it's a agoraphobic air intake and is afraid to go outside. ameyeright?
