For those with lowering springs.
This is for those running just lowering springs, specifically those who left the stock shocks. Any issues at all as of yet? I know this kind of set up is far from recommended but it is a great deal more affordable and it'd be good to know how long it can last before seeing some detrimental effects.

I'm on Eibach Pro-Kit springs and I'm not noticing anything different. I've been on them for probably 6-7k miles.

I have RCE Yellows, no problems at all... I defiantly Recommend doing this, Love them.

I have CG springs and the ride quality, height, and overall looks are perfect for me.
I have 11,000 miles on them now and everything is still intact and working  |

To the OP, it's probably still to early to tell how lowering springs will negatively impact the stock dampers. Come back next year when there is more than 1 person with over 30,000 miles on their modded suspension. |
If Toyota/Subaru did what I think they did, these shocks are going to be superior to the shocks that come in normal hondas, etc and should last longer with lowering springs. Look at stock s2000 shocks. Those last quite a while with lowering springs. The shocks on this car, while budget minded, aren't Toyota Yaris pieces.

When I had my Nissan Maxima, the factory shocks would last about a week with aftermarket springs. Are you thinking the factory shocks are able to handle the higher spring rates of aftermarket springs? That would be cool. |

They can take a decent bump in spring rate, BUT still don't have a lot of bump travel for lowering. You can't slam the car and expect a good ride or handling. Or durability. Konis will for sure improve things, but again the OEMs are not terrible. - Andrew |

been running Eibach Sportlines for about 4k miles, no issues yet. Just start saving for struts/coil overs when you get the springs.
