AutoX school? Is that just technique? Sounds fun. Where and how much?

Edit: I didn't even see it on the list. That was dumb of me haha. I'll probably sign up for that one too.

Yea, they call it Starting Line. You can find more info here: http://sccastartingline.com/

It looks really cool. Its just kinda expensive. I am already an SCCA member and I have a helmet. I emailed them a question about seat time. If they can guarantee me a lot of seat time and a possibly apply the 1 year membership after my current one expires I would definitely be interested at that price.

I was going to sign up but its almost the cost of one track day plus I already have a membership :\

Guys the Boston Chapter of BMWCCA has two auto x schools. One on April 8th and the other late summer. If you manage your time at the schools yoo can get 40+ runs in one day. Membership is required for insurance and IRS tax reasons...I beleive its $43 per yr? Then of course there are track schools, etc..

I'll be teaching atthe 8th event

WHo has a $325 Auto X school? I've run EVO Schools that ar up in that aa, but not a local auto X school.

I beleive that BMW's were $85 last year...

The SCCA event posted earlier in this thread... website says it costs $325+. Are the cones made of gold?

The Boston Chapter BMWCCA sounds much more reasonable.

Considering the cost of gold today, I don't think there will be enough for even one cone

But in this class, you get a helmet and a large amount of 1on1 time with an instructor. I'll let you all know if it was worth it.

Quality 1-on-1 instruction goes a LONG way indeed. Have fun and report back!

NER's school this year evidently. It's under a program called Starting Line, and they're supposed to have Evo school instructors. It comes with a bunch of other things too like a 1 year SCCA membership, and event entry fee for a regional AND national event.

I see an April 14th school. I would be interested in signing up for this too. More seat time = More better.
