ecutek deskey problem!!
 
I have an Toyota gt-86. I bought proecu package , licensing ve flash for it. (visconti tuning) I run it by the help of Deskey. Program automaticlly updated itself and I never able to open it again. It gave "Deskey not found. Insert deskey and restart application" warning. When I tried to install it to a new computer, But again I took the same warning. What can I do?

Just a suggestion but have you given the laptop a propper restart?

a lot of times restart :) but :mad0260:
p.s : it is working sometimes (for example : 500 restart one times working)

Is that windows vista?
if so you might want to upgrade to 7 or 8... Could be the issue, Vista is GARBAGE. no offence

Try another computer?

Go to Visconti's ticket system, submit a support ticket and explain the problem. He will get back to you and get it resolved.

Looks like a damaged key. Did you try calling JV? I see your overseas, but John, like a lot of us, never seems to sleep.

Sorry - I didn't realize there was a video, I was browsing on my phone and not paying attention. Definitely agree with Dynotronics1 on this - I think something's wrong with the key, unless you can verify it on another computer. If it works on another computer, then it's probably a driver/OS/USB problem. Reach out to your ECUTek vendor.

I sent a mail to their mail adress on their internet page, but I could not take an answer yet. They may be busy much. I wonder whether Visconti's ticket system is another way to reach them or not. If not, how can I use this system (I am in europe). I will be very pleased If you could help me.

I responded to your email yesterday, I suggested trying a different USB port.

It's strange because all DesKeys are tested before they're shipped

Call me if you want, I'll remote in and see what's going on.
