Wrecked 19 days ago, car finally back home!
 

So here's the story, as I was driving back home one night from a restaurant a guy made a U-Turn into traffic(my lane) who then subsequently slammed on his brakes for NO reason. Since I had very little reaction time and didn't have enough time to stop, I rear-ended him causing over 9k in damages(This was at speeds less than roughly 15mph at time of impact). Luckily the guy I hit took fault for the wreck immediately since it was caused by his negligence. This made the process of dealing with insurance pretty easy. My car was in the shop until today when I finally was able to pick her up. Here are the pics of my now 4 month old wrecked car... advice for people the car is designed to crush fairly easy so even at a very slow speeds you can cause lots of expensive damage. Be careful out there!

That was stupid of him, but you got lucky that he took the blame. I would say 9 out of 10 guys wouldn't do that without trying to fight it. Congrats on getting it back!

Ya the guy was older... so far the car looks and drives good, I got lifetime warranty on all the work done and for the paint work so if there is any issues I'm covered.

Glad you got your car back. It looks like there were two lanes; if he did a U-turn and was in one of the lanes, why wouldn't you move over to the other lane?

I was in the right lane, there was a person in the left lane, if I had merged left I would've side swiped that person.

What happened to your car? Bro I literally thought about my car everyday whilst driving the Jeep Liberty Rental they gave me. It sucks man!

That's great to hear that your back and running, read your post a while ago and now I get nervous every time someone is pulling up quickly every time they go behind me.
