This guy made his own rear diffuser out of fiberglass in his garage for $75. You could apply this to pretty much any thing.

There's DIY, and then there's crazy. That guy is crazy! No way I'd be able to do that myself! Fiberglass & bondo aren't very easy to work with if you don't know what you're doing. Kudos to him though. Turned out great!
