not sure if i like the layout of it. :/ The greddy kits for the rx8 didn't work too well from what I remember. Still leaning towards the FBM kit.

They are put there to give a little wiggle room in events of excessive flex I believe. Forget the actual name of them off hand.

They're flex pipes. The mesh covers a rippled flexible pipe.

Think the real issue with those failures were due to uneducated owners who threw mad amounts of boost at their stock rotaries.

Remember this is not a Rotary. The seals on the RX-8 or any RX generation does not hold up well even without turbo. Mine was NA and the seals went out at 89k miles. Now the car is just sitting in my garage waiting for me to get a rebuild/engine replacement. :(

My Rx8 died at 75,000km all stock.

The greddy kit wasnt great for the rx8 because it wasnt sized correctly for high the redline was.

It ran out of steam at 7000 rpm and the manual reved to 9000rpm
