UCONN Car Show - 4/14/2013
Hi all - thought I'd mention the UCONN Car Show put on by the UCONN Car Club every April. In the past this show was held on the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs and the field was often not large enough to accomodate all the cars. This year it has moved to Rentschler Field so there will be no limit to the number of entrants. This will be a huge show!
I've attended in the past with other cars and the turnout is incredible, typically covers the entire spectrum of cars from antiques to highly modified imports. A great place to meet people with similar cars - many get together outside the field, drive in as a group and park together. Link to the show website is below. Maybe we could get a group together for this one and meet other FR-S / BRZ owners? http://www.uconncarclub.com/2013-show/ |
I'm down for this. PM me if you want to set something up.

Cool, it's a maybe for me. I have to see if i'm busy that weekend.

UC3 is a great show! I haven't been since like '07, but last time I went they had a RedBull F1 car there! I'm sure it's only gotten crazier since!

Im interested!
The twins should show up as a group for sure. I went once several years ago with my Evo and it was pretty cool. |
Recommend crossposting this to the NY/CT/NJ/PA forum.
I live in both since I'm in the middle. |

Let me do some investigating as I knew the UCONN set-up but I'm not familiar with Rentschler Field. There are supposed to be some parking lots there where clubs members can meet up to go in together. I'll see what I can find out and post later. Might take a while, I don't do much in a hurry these days!
Right now I just hope the crappy weather is done but knowing New England, it's probably not. And if anyone else is famliar with that area (Rentschler Field) and has any ideas let us know. I've never been there before myself. |
