yes it's my p.o.s. civic until the BRZ next year, but still. now I have to search junk yards for a head light and a silver front bumper. ARGH! ...sigh

The sound becomes the most obvious at ~0:10sec.

so it's more of an audio clip then a video since you can't really see anything. but do you hear what I mean?

Basic info:
The sound is most audible while idling or at slow speeds (10km/h).
Its loud enough to be heard inside the cabin.
No shakes, No stalls, No leaks, No Loss of power [as of yet].
as you can tell from the vid, it comes and goes.

and of course I didn't start hearing this until after the fender bender.

I have my own assumptions of what it is, but wouldn't mind getting a few second opinions.

and all done within the underground parking complex of my apartment building haha.

....still have the sound tho. I'm starting to think it's one of the pulley's rubbing against something.

UPDATE:

it being the weekend, I had time to take the car into my mechanic to look into the noise.

looks like the pulley bearings have broken and is what's creating the sound you're hearing in the video.

he also found that the engine mounts are worn to shit. head gasket seal has degraded and now my oil/coolant are now mixing, which has ruined my water pump and most likely radiator.

oh and the timing belt doesn't look like it's ever been replaced....THE CAR HAS 244,533 KM ON IT! haha

so he discovered all this after I drove an hour on the HWY to get the car to him... winter beaters amiright?

I was going to say it needs to be put out of it misery but heck...

It's a Civic!

-Motor mount are cheap
-Engine is cheap
-Radiator could be an Ebay Special..

You can have the thing good as new for under $1k.

Final Update before I let this thread die off:

I got the car back last week after leaving it with my trusted mechanic for a little over a week.

He fixed/replaced:

-engine mounts(aftermarket)
-head gasket(OEM) + Resurfacing(dealership)
-Steering column(used)
-power steering canister(aftermarket)
-Tensioner Pulley(used)
-Timing Belt(OEM)
-Waterpump(aftermarket)
-Hoses(OEM)
-Fluids(OEM)
-Full scrub down of injectors, and Lifters
-Complete Flush
-Front lower ball joints(OEM)
==================================
and all this for $900 cash.
==================================

which is why I drive over an hour to have him work on my car lol.

thanks for stopping by and all those who left their input.
