Boxer Engines and Superchargers

not being boxer expert, I'm not sure how difficult bolting a low boost high efficiency supercharger would be to the FR-S / BRZ. Given the weight of this car, it would seem that a low boost supercharger that doesn't need a intercooler would be the perfect low cost FI solution that doesn't break the bank and gives the car the added torque to really make the car a blast to drive.

I know most subi and probably most toyota guys are turbo minded, but the latest generation of roots superchargers are quite efficient and in a non IC form can provide moderate boost levels and good torque.

Just a thought.
