Plugging up license plate bumper holes?
Hello everyone, I am about to order the grimmspeed relocation license plate kit because I really hate the centered mounting bracket that the dealer put up. Has anyone found a solution for covering up the bumper holes?

Duct tape.

My solution was to ask the dealer not to drill/install the front plate. They complied, even though we are a front plate state. Had they not, I would have refused the car. For a DIY method, nothing is going to look great, but I guess you could fill the holes with silicone sealant and use touch-up paint to try and blend it in.

Black rubber buttons (plugs) at your hardware store.

Just to clarify, the only holes that was drilled was in on the black grill part and not on the actual painted bumper. I think ill go with a black rubber plugs that whaap suggested. Thanks!(:

Sweet, there you go! Didn't realize the holes weren't on the painted surface.

My dealer hooked me up with one. They were rubber plugs with holes, and plugged the holes with a plastic plugs.
You can kinda see the 2 plugs in the front.. I'm waiting for a new "stache" if they ever come out with CF ones or something. http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...00633000_n.jpg |
Trimmed the bumper edges for a smooth fit and snapped right in.

I wrapped mine in CF vinyl. Make sure you shave down any material that sticks out though, otherwise it will show in the vinyl. I didn't shave one hole down and it kind of sticks out while you can't see the other hole.
