JL Audio 13TW5v2 Sub?
 

Anyone have any experience with the JL Audio 13TW5v2? I'm thinking this would be perfect for my install in the spare tire well as it requires low enclosure volume and is super flat.

Thats going to be WAAAAY too much sub for this car. A buddy of mine has a 13W7 in his jeep and its rattling that thing apart. I don't even turn my 8W3 all the way up because the trunk rattles.

Maybe i'm just getting old, but anything over a 10 seems like overkill to me.

I was hoping that surface area would make up for excursion limitations, but you might be right about that.

It has a TON of excursion too!! I did 2 in a new Camaro and it slammed!! Tons of dynamat and foam to keep it solid...

So are you guys thinking it's to much sub? I could drop down to a 10. Some of the ID stuff I hear is really good.

JL is releasing their flat 10" any day now and the Alpine flat subs sound really good too..

this is my set up. sounds perfect just not much trunk space.
definitly need new speakers and power going to them
