Bay Area car club?
 

Is there someone already organizing a car club/group for us future AS1 (FR-S/BRZ) owners here in the Bay Area? If not, is someone planning to do it in the near future? What about people interested in joining one (like myself)? Or will most of you just join already existing Scion/Subaru groups?

I am not sure about CAR CLUBS .. but you pull into any In & Out / Nations / Sonics
late Friday / Saturday nights .. you might find a group of random car guys who'll talk about their cars with you .

AE86 peeps meet on the first Fri of every month behind the ABC Seafood restaurant neat Quickly's in Milpitas. Cars usually start showing up around 9 or so. Well, when our cars are running :happyanim:

There's Subaru meets all over in the bay area. I go to one in Vallejo on Tuesdays where we have an assortment of nice cars, but there's pretty much a meet every day of the week. I'm coming from the WRX/STI world so thats the meets I usually go to.

There's another one in Colma apparently. Same night too.

Not necessarily trying to start a whole club with a weekly meet behind <insert place> at 11pm on a weeknight. With a family and work, I'm afraid those days are long gone for me...

I was more thinking of getting a bunch of FR-S/BRZ people to drive some of the routes in the thread on a weekend morning, like I used to when I had my bike, then talk cars/the road and grab lunch after.

Hey If you find yourself near Santa Cruz and want to try some of our roads, I'll meet up with ya, that sort of thing sounds like a lot fun. I was thinking about hosting a nor-cal First 86 BBQ meet. My sweetie is the S.C. winner.
