Stock ride height numbers?

Anyone measure the stock ride height from a flat surface to the fender or tire to fender lip? I know there are differences car to car just looking for something ballpark.

I probably do at work, I can look on Monday.

Just went out in the garage and measured for you. The measurement is from the center of the wheel to the fender lip.

Front 14 5/8 inches
Rear 14 1/2 inches

Will vary somewhat depending on amount of gas in the tank and build spec tolerances. The measurement was for the drivers side. I was too lazy to do the passengers.

That's a little odd since generally the rear is slightly higher than the front from other info I've seen, generally about 1/4". The gas in the tank shouldn't really be enough to cause the springs to appreciably lower.

With a driver (and passenger) it may level out a bit more...just a thought...?

Maybe I measured wrong. Never said I was accurate.:)

Mine was 26 3/8" front & 26 5/8" rear on pass side. They were just slightly higher on driver's side (to compensate for driver?).

Ground to top of wheel arch.

F: 26 and 1/4"
R: 26 and 1/2"

L/R sides were dead even.

GotM 03-03-2013 12:55 PM

I came in at:

F: 26 1/2 in
R: 26 5/8 in

L/R were the same.

It's better to measure from the center of the wheel. Air pressures of the tire and tire diameter do not come into play. That being said it isn't going to make that much difference.

xwd 03-03-2013 02:41 PM

Yeah I was about to say the same thing, middle of hub to fender is better. Given how close guys are though it probably doesn't make much difference.

Floor to fender lip on mine before lowering was 26.5" on front and 27" rear. That is with properly inflated oem tires and wheels.

I lowered them both to 25" and I think it looks pretty good, not too low.

Has anyone measuerd to the bottom of the chasis? I've alreay lowered mine and I have aftermarket fenders...

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! These are the correct specs.

A lot of you guys were probably measuring on an uneven surface if you weren't close to these numbers.
