Gauging Interest: California Speedway Track Day

Just gauging interest for a California Speedway track day. We'll be doing this in conjunction with a private event so we can get the track for the whole weekend. We currently have an available weekend in September that we're looking to book. These are the preliminary costs for the event:

Who: Currently looking at FR-S owners that may be interested. May expand to include other vehicles if we don't have enough FR-S specific interest.

What: Track Day & Meet

Where: California Speedway (aka Autoclub Speedway, Fontana, CA)

Course: Auto Club Speedway ROVAL - http://www.autoclubspeedway.com/Track-Info/~/media/DCE7BA0072724E3197CABE2B7C1671E1.ashx

When: September 2013 (TBD) - Weekend, likely Sunday

Cost: Still dialing it in, but we're aiming for 100 participants (4 groups of 25, divided by track experience level)

$160. Track Fee includes transponder rental

$10. Entrance Fee (due upon entrance to track to Auto Club Speedway)

So the cost is a bit higher than the usual Streets of Willow/Buttonwillow fees, but it's a lot closer ;)

Please reply below if you are interested and help spread the word. We need to see how many people are interested by week's end so we can decide if we want to put the deposit down for it. Please put your screen name down. If you know someone that is interested but not on the forum, please post their first name, last initial and your screen name next to it so we can relay information.

:thanks:

86FEST will likely be in August or September so we may team up for 86FEST. I better call Antonio and wish him a late birthday, too! =P

throw me down I was planning on starting to track my car towards the end of the year so this will work for me, hopefully this mixes in with the next 86fest. Didn't track the car at the 86fest last year so would like to do it this time around if this is in conjunction with it.

I'd be interested if this goes down

This sounds like fun. I'd be down. Unless it lands on my moms birthday in September. Then I probably won't be able to make it.

We always sneak a few in ;)

Thanks for the feedback guys. Please repost this thread anywhere that you have FR-S connections so we can spread the word and see if we have enough interest. I have to put a pretty substantial deposit down, so I want to make sure everything lines up nicely before doing so.

:thanks:
