New owner in NY
 

I picked this up on Monday, loving it so far

This is my first Subaru, I've been involved with the VW/Audi community for the past 10 years. I've had an Audi TT since 2002 and I traded a '10 VW Golf TDI for the BRZ.

I'm really looking forward to getting this thing out on some decent roads. Over the years I've taken my TT on at least 10-20 thousand miles of road trips in order to drive the best driving roads in the east. I also regularly organize group drives for the TT folks including a week long road trip that I organize once a year called TT-East. The past August we did 1200 miles of back roads from VA to GA and Audi brought an RS5 for us to drive along the way. I signed up for a track event at Lime Rock with the Audi Club in May, I can't wait to see how this car is on the track.

I'm hoping the BRZ/FR-S community is as great as the TT and Audi community has been. I've met some great people along the way.

I'm using magnets on my TT and I was going to tell them not to put the plate on but I just didn't have time to explore options. 2 of my friends got tickets for not having a front plate near where I live (they do checkpoints here for stickers & plates) and I don't feel like dealing with that nonsense.

Nice, the funny thing is I usually get black and I usually don't care for silver but something about this car in silver just looked right.
