So I painted my headlights yesterday
 

Gixxersixxerman helped me out alot. And now the OEM headlights look so sexy! We took the headlights apart and painted the chrome inside. I went with a satin black. We also took the projector apart and painted the metal cut off plate red. And I tell yah, the red cut off plate was a great idea. Here is a little eye candy for those interested.

Looks good, now black out the turn signals so its not such an obvious chrome light below it.

This is a matter of opinion. I think it looks sick on the red car.

Great job man, shoulda did a retrofit while you were in there tho. I can't wait to rip mine apart and paint them but I'ma wait until I get some morimotos before I do so I can do it all at once.

Why did you buy an FR-S? It's been done already.

Thank you everyone except the guy calling it RICE. Glad its my car and not his. Pretty much everything has already been done on one car or another. Gixxersixxerman's headlights where my inspiration. He has that plate painted red and I loved it. Only other mod I will do to the headlights are LED driving light and white headlights. I'm not a fan of HID. The turn signals will get tinted, then I want to get clear marker lights and the. Red them out unless I can find red marker lights.

Major props, I love it. I like the demon eyes too, goes great with the rest of the car.

I can't wait to see it!

No, sorry. I did all this at the same time. But for those that don't know, the red only shows from certain angles. When you turn the headlights on it appears brighter at those angles but it in no way shape or form affects the headlights ability to shine the road or give a red tint.

Looks nice! Very tempted to do something like this. The red glow goes away when you turn on your lights right?
